Meet Valentina
Valentina (“Tina”) is a retired polo pony. She has a wonderful chestnut coat with a distinctive splash of white between her eyes. She has an extremely kind and calming nature and is the lead mare of the pack. Today she mainly supports the children and youth programmes at EQUAL, helping them develop emotional resilience by building socio-emotional skills.
What we are doing:
Sponsoring Tina’s daily needs including her feed and nutrition, stable maintenance and the care needed for her general well being

How can I support the cause?
Donations will help maintain a supportive living environment for the horses and provide subsidies for programs that assist the elderly, children, and people with special needs in developing emotional resilience through EQUAL’s animal-assisted services.
Supporting the stray population
Estimates suggest that Singapore has a stray dog population of over 7,000, many of which rely on the goodwill of stray feeders for their daily meals. For these feeders, caring for the dogs is a tireless commitment carried out rain or shine, often funded entirely out of their own pockets.
What we are doing:
Easing the financial burden on stray feeders by providing donations of meat to support their ongoing feeding efforts
Coordinating the collection of unwanted pet food from owners who wish to donate them for a good cause
Reducing food waste by consolidating and redistributing donated goods and production off-cuts to those in need
